Bluebell Railway
The volunteer run Bluebell Line was the UK's first preserved standard gauge passenger railway, re-opening part of the Lewes to East Grinstead line of the old London Brighton & South Coast Railway in 1960. Since then it has developed into one of the largest tourist attractions in Sussex.

Volks Railway
Opened in 1883, Volk's Electric Railway is the 'world's oldest operating electric railway'. The brainchild of inventor Magnus Volk the railway runs for just over a mile along Brighton seafront between Aquarium (for Brighton Pier) and Black Rock (for the Marina).

Brighton Pier
Free to enter, plenty of rides for children and adults alike. Several shops and cafes to get food. There are great views back to the brighton skyline.

 

Middle farm
Come and meet our friendly chickens, ducks, spotted pigs and donkeys. Don’t miss our playful rabbits and guinea pigs. There are timed events throughout the day, including our prize-winning pedigree Jersey cows being milked each afternoon.

Drusillas Park Zoo

Sea Life - Brighton
150 marine species and 57 displays

Booth museum of Natural History
An interesting and FREE museum containing stuffed birds and animal skeletons as well as many other natural history specimens. There are a variety of interactive displays in a new 'hands on' gallery.

Prince Regent swimming pool
Home of four superb swimming pools, a fabulous gym and health suite.  There are aqua exercise classes, swimming lessons and fun sessions for all the family.

King Alfred Leisure Centre
An all-purpose leisure facility providing competitive, instructional and leisure swimming opportunities with beach entry lagoon and features.

Funplex
Indoor play offering a playframes for older children as well as toddlers. There’s a café on site and adults and ‘babe in arms’ enter for free. Includes a cannon ball pit, eighteen metre astro slide, crawl tubes and aerial runway.

Monkey Bizness
Multi-activity indoor play that caters for children of all ages with different areas for 0-2s, 2-5s and 5-12. They promote healthy food in their restaurant as well as offering Sky TV for parents.
